Day of Action 2015 Happens April 12!

This year's Day of Action will be our 4th annual day of service to our community. Plans are being made to work on a variety of projects including: beautification of Meadow Park Middle School and Barnes Elementary School; litter cleanup in parks and high visibility areas; meals for Portland homeless residents; and delivery of baked treats to local fire & police stations, and to US War veterans being treated for PTSD at Cedar Hills Hospital.

What we need most is . . . YOU!  Everyone is welcome to join the fun. We meet at Meadow Park Middle School at 9 AM on April 12. Most projects are complete by 1 PM. Lunch is included.

We are now accepting donations of many items needed to make this a great day.  Needs include:
  • Soil
  • Plants  (flowers for planting on school grounds)
  • Bark dust or chips
  • Weed barrier
  • Baking supplies for goodies to be delivered (see above)
  • Painting supplies
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Donations of food from local restaurants  to feed hungry volunteers
Each Day of Action is a little different, but you can get a feel for it by watching last year's Day of Action video below.
